Northwich Market

Northwich has both a spacious retail market hall and a traditional outdoor covered market.

Both are as popular as ever, and comprise nearly 60 specialist shops and stalls all offering a vast array of trades catering for all needs and tastes.

The diversity of products and services offered makes it a wonderful place to shop and browse whilst also taking advantage of the expertise of dozens of independent traders.

Among the wide variety of interesting  trades and services you will find; a butcher, menswear, delicatessen, local produce and eggs, cane furniture, hairdresser, mobile phones, make-up, hardware, DVDs, wedding accessories, jewellery, china and household goods, ladies' wear, collectables and much, much more.

There is also a convenient little café area where you can rest after a hard day's shopping and enjoy a well deserved tasty snack and drink.

Northwich market is open Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays (except for Christmas day, Boxing Day and New Year's Day) between 9am and 4pm.

Centrally located next to the shopping centre, it is a wonderful place to visit with plenty of car parking spaces within easy walking distance.

There are currently plans to refurbish both the market hall and the traditional covered market (gradually and on non-market days) to make the market an even more appealing and vibrant place to visit and work, and to make the markets act as a public square and a landmark for the town.

This will serve to make Northwich market even more accessible, visible and ensure that it continues to flourish as has been for so many years.

 

Winsford Market

Winsford market is located right in the centre of town near to the ASDA superstore and there are plenty of car parking spaces nearby, making for a more relaxed and stress free days shopping.

Winsford market is completely indoors, consists of both shop units and traditional market stalls, and offers an interesting and eclectic mix of trades, ensuring that all tastes and needs are well covered.

Among the variety of trades you will find; ladies fashion, locally made sweets, hardware, mobile phones, prams and nursery accessories, bed linen, shoes, children's wear and toys jewellery,  electrical appliances, pet food, underwear, plants, crafts, collectables  and many, many more.

In addition to this there are some super fruit and vegetable stalls, homemade cakes, a delicatessen selling everything from specialist cheese to sausage, and a lovely café area to sit and relax with a drink and a snack and soak up the authentic, buzzing atmosphere of a traditional and thriving market.

Winsford Market is open every Monday, Thursday and Saturday (except for Christmas day, Boxing Day, New Year's Day and other bank holidays) between 9am and 4pm.
